Our Story
Shelterly started in 2024 after we saw our friends struggle repeatedly to find a decent PG in Bangalore. Endless calls, misleading photos, unclear pricing, and zero accountability had become the norm and we knew this was a problem worth fixing.
What began as a simple effort to help friends started on Telegram, then moved to WhatsApp, where we personally shared PG options, coordinated visits, and helped people move in. As demand grew, we realised this problem was much bigger than our circle and that's when Shelterly became a full-fledged platform.
Today, Shelterly is a PG marketplace in Bangalore that helps students and working professionals find verified PGs near colleges, offices, and tech parks. In less than a year, we've helped 200+ students find accommodation, partnered with 100+ PGs, and work with close to 3,000 beds across Bangalore.
Every PG listed on Shelterly is personally verified by our team to ensure transparency around rent, facilities, and location. We focus on making PG discovery simple, honest, and stress-free – especially for people moving to a new city.
