1. About Shelterly

Shelterly is a PG and accommodation marketplace that helps users discover and connect with PGs and rental properties. Shelterly acts solely as a facilitator or medium between users and property owners. We do not own, manage, or operate any listed property.

2. Use of Your Information

When you submit an enquiry or sign up on Shelterly, you agree that your information will be used only for Shelterly-related purposes. This includes contacting you, sharing suitable PG options, and assisting you with your accommodation search.

Shelterly does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes. Your information is used strictly to help you find accommodation through Shelterly.

3. Listings & Information Accuracy

While we make reasonable efforts to verify PGs and property details, Shelterly does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or pricing of any listing at all times.

Rent, deposits, facilities, and property rules are determined by the respective property owners. Final terms are always agreed upon directly between the user and the property owner. Users are advised to confirm all details before making any payments.

4. Payments & Bookings

Shelterly does not collect rent, deposits, or booking amounts for properties. All payments are made directly between the user and the property owner.

Shelterly’s role is limited to coordination and introductions. Once a booking is completed and payment is made to the property owner, Shelterly’s role as a facilitator is considered complete.

5. Conflicts & Disputes

In the event of any dispute, disagreement, or issue between the user and the property owner, Shelterly may attempt to assist or mediate to the best of its ability.

However, Shelterly is not responsible or liable for any conflicts, losses, damages, refunds, or legal outcomes. All legal and financial responsibilities lie solely between the user and the property owner.

6. Refunds & Deposits

Refunds, deductions, and deposit adjustments are governed entirely by the property owner’s policies. Shelterly has no control over refund amounts or timelines after move-in or move-out.

7. User Responsibility

By using Shelterly, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, communicate respectfully with property owners and the Shelterly team, and independently verify all property details before finalising any booking.

8. Changes to Terms

Shelterly reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the most recent version of these terms.
